Description:
1987 GT CONVERTIBLE
45,100 original miles, V8 5 speed. power windows, power
locks, paint is in great condition, original cassette
stereo, seats in excellent condition. Very fast car. Tires
in great shape. I am the 3rd owner. Color is called "Oxford
White". Car is garage kept. I purchased the car with 44,265
miles on it. Top is in excellent condition and body also.
Convertible top black and has a glass window. Boot is in
excellent condition and same color as interior. Very clean
car.

Description: 1988 Ford Mustang GT
I
will describe this car as best as I can. There is over
$20,000 invested in this car. It is all set to go racing
except for slicks and a roll cage. There is 65k actual miles
on the body. I purchased this car from the second owner who
has had it since it was a year old. This car was built in
1996 and has been parked in a garage since 1997. There is
less than 1,000 miles on the complete drive train,
suspension, and brake system. Nearly everything on this car
has been upgraded. Everything done on this car has been done
by certified technicians and reputable speed shops. First
off the body is nearly stock with exception to the hood, it
is a fiberglass Ram-Air style cowl induction hood. The body
has a couple small dings, one on the passenger side fender
(barely noticeable), a small scuff on the rear bumper cover,
and a crack in the front valance (see photo), other than
that the body shines real nice, it is the original paint
except the hood which was painted to match the car, there
are some small rock chips on the front of the hood. There is
no rot or rust through anywhere on this body at all. All the
glass is good, no cracks or chips, the rear and side windows
are tinted and look pretty good. All the lights are good and
intact with no chips or cracks, The rear taillights are from
a 1993 Mustang Cobra. The interior is nice, the carpet just
needs a light cleaning. The front seats are the Recaro seats
from a Ford Mustang SVO. They were recovered and look and
feel real nice. The rear seats look like they have never
been sat in. The dash is all there, no cracks or anything
like that, the center console is in great shape, the little
console lid snap broke so it doesn't latch. All the gauges
work, it has a Ford Motorsport 160MPH speedo installed in
it. All the interior panels are there and in great shape.
Included with the car is a set of brand new Autometer gauges
that aren't even opened yet, they include a 5" shift-lite
Tachometer, a Boost/Vacuum gauge, Voltmeter, Temperature
gauge, and an Air/Fuel Ratio gauge. I paid over $400 just
for these gauges. I just had the heater core done and now
the wipers and the gas filler door don't work, I think it is
a ground wire or a plug was missed when the shop put it back
together. It worked before I had the heater core done, I am
sure it is something minor. Now for the fun stuff; first the
engine. The engine is a 351 Windsor with 2 bolt mains, the
bottom end was completely balanced. The block was sent out
and was hot tanked, checked for cracks, and honed. New cam
bearings and ARP studs were put in. It was not bored out. It
has a steel crank with a girdle, It has heavy duty
connecting rods, and 10.5:1 compression forged pistons. The
cam is a full roller Crane cam with 518 lift 300 duration
when used with 1.5 rockers, this car has 1.72 roller rockers
so the lift is actually higher than that. It has a Cam
Research adjustable cam gear on it with a double roller
timing set from Ford Motorsport. The cylinder heads are
World Products Windsor heads and feature 2.02 intake valves
and 1.60 exhaust valves. These heads were ported and
polished before they were installed. The intake is a GT40
upper and lower set which were honed out and gasket matched.
There is an oversize throttle body on it, I am unsure of the
size, I believe it was a 65mm. There is a Ford Motorsport
Mass Air Conversion installed. It is equipped with MSD
ignition. The valve covers are the stock 5.0HO aluminum, the
oil pan is a Moroso 7 qt deep sump. It has a high pressure
oil pump in it. For cooling there is a 4 core heavy duty
Radiator and dual electric pusher fans, the thermostat for
the electric fans needs to be replaced, this is readily
available at NAPA etc.. for about $20. The fuel pump is an
in tank 155LPH electric pump. There is 24lb. injectors in
it. Exhaust consists of full length competition 1 7/8" tube
Hooker Headers that go into a 2.5" DYNOMAX off road H-Pipe
into full 2.5" Mandrel bent pipe all the to the rear of the
car. The mufflers are 2.5" Super Turbo. The Transmission is
the original T-5 but was sent out to TREMEC and completely
rebuilt with heavy duty everything. It has a Hurst short
throw shifter on it. It has a lightweight flywheel from Ford
Motorsport, and a King Cobra clutch. The driveshaft was
rebalanced and new heavy duty U-joints were installed. The
rear end has an Auburn Posi unit with 3:55 gears. This car
was fitted with the Ford Motorsport 5-lug disc brake
conversion kit which includes the following; 31 spline
axles, rear 10" brake rotors, calipers, rear ceramic pads,
lines, hoses, and master cylinder. The front brakes were
upgraded to 12" rotors and Ceramic pads. The suspension was
upgraded with lowering springs, shocks, and struts, as well
as oversized sway bars. The car handles incredible. The
wheels are Mustang Saleen 16" fitted with BFGoodrich Comp
T/A 225-50-ZR16 front tires, and BFGoodrich Comp T/A
245-45-ZR16 rear tires. This car has over $20,000 worth of
upgrades done to it. This car was built to be drag raced. It
dynoes at 380 horsepower, it can be fine tuned and brought
up to well over 400 horsepower. This engine was built to
handle a 75-100 shot of Nitrous reliably, 150 shot with a
shorter lifespan. This car has a very lumpy idle, and
requires at least 93 Octane gas. The speed shop estimated
this car to run in the 11's on slicks with racing gas.

She drives like she had only 18K all four tires are near new
and are high performance Z rated top of the line. The top is
like new the paint is excellent there are no engine or
transmission leaks in short one would be hard pressed to
find a nicer 5.0 stock mustang period!!!

Description:
Mustang is completely stock except for flowmasters,h-pipe
and k&n filter. It has new radiator, water pump,
transmission, clutch, throw out bearing,and clutch fork. The
car is black with grey interior. It has been converted to
5-lug with all ford motorsports parts, including new axles,
drums and rotors. It has ford motorsports cobra R's 17X9
front and rear. All has less than 10,000 miles .It has a
Alpine CD player with two 10 inch woofers, and alarm.
